Feeling stressed?
Is life too much right now?
Enjoy walking?
In our frantic times, when being busy has become a badge announcing a fulfilled life, it’s easy to begin feeling stressed and even overwhelmed at times. Life need not be like this! Fulfilled lives need also to include undemanding periods of gentle exercise and connecting with nature, ideally in the company of like-minded people.
More and more people are recognising the benefits of being outdoors. It encourages relaxation, can boost your mood, and can be the very best therapy for managing the damaging impact of stress. Run by Julian Penton and Tom Livesey, two keen fellwalkers and experienced therapists, Walking to Wellbeing is a project that promotes the power of nature in boosting wellbeing. We offer a wide range of different walking-based activities, tailored to meet a variety of needs and capabilities.
These include hour-long 1-1 walk and talk therapy sessions, a programme of free guided half-day walks, and 1-2 night therapeutic retreats.
